There were a lot of victims in Alabama and neighboring states that were affected by the tornado. There was a tornado that came through Tuscaloosa doing the most damage...I can only be grateful that my family and I were not affected. Although I was sent to the basement of my dorm, at the University of West Alabama, for a while and we went without power for hours I still am forever grateful. I have friends and residents who are now without a home & who have lost loved ones. When I see the footage and pictures my heart becomes heavy. Be thankful tomorrow is never promised today.
